A Choice

WHO (World Health Organization) published new standard for acupuncture point locations after I published Adora AA based on the old standard. The new standard is much better in all the aspects - no matter the document structure, the notation, the new diagrams, and the most important is that the explanation for the points really make sense now.

Some AA users feedback for extraordinary points which are useful in practice. I can find some references for the extraordinary points, even some good ones. But they are not standardized. Different references have very different points and contents. Some points were only mentioned by WHO in a very old (1983) and quite draft document, no detail at all.

What to do? I decide to upgrade the existing standardized points according to the new WHO standard document for a new version first, and wait for WHO's standard for extraordinary points. Quality before quantity - in Chinese: 宁缺勿滥.
